Celebrating World Water Day

March 22nd is World Water Day, as declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1993. Following Thanksgiving, this might be my favorite holiday of the year!

A whole day dedicated to celebrating, loving, appreciating, and protecting water and it's ability to unify and sustain all living beings around the world. Water is my greatest source and nourishment; my grounding; my music; my passion and service; my courage; water is my partner.

What does water mean to you? Please leave a comment below!

I hope you'll take a moment to watch this beautiful video, and at

6:00pm PST today, wherever you are, take a moment to close your eyes and join the world in a collective field of meditation and prayer to #LoveWater, in what we hope will be the largest synchronized meditation so far.

For those in my neck of the woods, there is a gathering at Miller Park at 6pm overlooking the American River for a World Water Day Meditation and Prayer. Learn and discover more at www.unify.org. There are events happening today all over the country and world. Next year, I plan to host a celebration as well! Put it on your calendar: March 22, 2016. I hope you'll join me.
